This was after Governor Mandago, few days ago announced that he will be seeking to be the next senator after his second term comes to an end in 2022.
But speaking in Uasin Gishu on Sunday, Sudi rubbished Mandago's bid, saying he should instead consider going for national politics instead of competing with his juniors for the senate seat.
"After obe becomes a sub chief, he/she will go for the Chief's position next, then DO, DC and over to County Commissioner. We have the likes of Kipchumba Karori, Arap Kemei who wants to be the next senator. You cannot be a governor and comes back to senate....Mandago should be going for a cabinet secretary position (CS Agriculture) not coming back here" warned Sudi.
Sudi said Mandago wont be effective in the Senate position, and will come back disturbing the newly elected governor since he knows all the loopholes in the county.
But in a quick retaliation, Governor Mandago told off Sudi, saying he will not be coward by his statement.
He reminded Sudi that he has not contributed anything in parliament and should not dictate to him what he should be looking for in 2022.
He promised to teach them a lesson adding that he will not step down for anybody
"I have heard Kapseret MP dictating on the position I should be vying for, kwani kazi yake ni kupanga watu? Hakuna ukarabati..mambo yamekwama bunge kwa sababu hakuna watu wa kutunga sheria. Watu waache upuzi, I know you discussed that in the boardrooms but I will defeat just the same way I did in 2017," replied Mandago.
