Deputy president William Ruto and Interior Secretary Fred Matiang'i have not been having a good relationship ever since Raila Odinga joined the Jubilee government. The two rarely meet but yesterday Matiang'i met one of Ruto's top allies, Kipchumba Murkomen.

Taking to his official twitter page, Murkomen said that he and the Matiang'i decided to put aside their political differences and discuss about the insecurities currently being experienced in the Kerio Valley region. Murkomen said that they reached an agreement that the government will take immediate action on the matter starting Saturday 29.
Murkomen said that he will be part of the team and is ready to offer any assistance to the people of the region to help with what the government will have given.

Over the past few weeks, several attacks have been reported in the Kerio Valley region and many people have lost their lives. Follow the page for more news updates daily.
