Kibicho is currently the biggest campaigner of the constitutional change push in Uhuru's government, and has not only been drumming up support for it in functions but has also been attending radio shows.
The self proclaimed top member of Uhuru's Jubilee Party, alleges that the president has deliberately elevated the PS to that position, aware that he cannot trust his BBI partners with the popularization funds.
"Dr. Karanja KIBICHO (Principal Secretary, Interior) has emerged as the SOLE driving force behind bbi. Very unusual for a civil servant to be that vocal/upfront..but I know the reason..H.E REFUSES to trust politicians especially those in ODM, ANC and KANU with public funds. SIMPLE," he says in a tweet.
His observation comes only days after Uhuru assembled the nation's biggest political figures at the Nairobi State House, after the passage of the BBI bill at the County Assembly level.
The six leaders agreed to join hands in drumming up support for the changed proposed in the BBI bill, vowing to see to it that Kenyans pass them in the looming referendum set to be held in May or June.
Among the six was ODM leader Raila Odinga, who doubles up as Uhuru's handshake partner and with whom they founded the BBI.
The others were ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya), Gideon Moi (KANU), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Nark's Charity Ngilu.
Ahmednasir is among prominent Kenyans opposed to the entire BBI issue and has been repeatedly bashing Uhuru and Raila, while at the same time predicting a Deputy President William Ruto presidency in 2022.
