Several matters concerning the new political party will be addressed in today delegates conference. The party preparations for the forthcoming elections will also be discussed in today delegates conference.
This delegates conference comes days after governor Amason Kingi led the party leadership in joining deputy president William Ruto Kenya Kwanza Alliance. Governor Kingi said that Coast region matters will be addressed in Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
Pamoja Alliance party was one of the affiliate parties in Azimio movement. It had signed a coalition agreement with ruling Jubilee party before joining Azimio movement. They later pulled out of the coalition citing lack of trust and transparency in Azimio camp.
Yesterday Azimio movement brigade camped in Kilifi county to woo the local residents to support his presidential candidate Raila Odinga. They dismissed governor Kingi's defection to Kenya Kwanza saying that it is inconsequential.
