Parade protest

What Azimio Supporters Did Outside IEBC Offices Forcing The Police To Come in

The recent days have seen members of parliament allied to the Azimio One Kenya Alliance protest against a decision made by the independent electoral and boundaries commission by the chief executive officer of the commission.

The CEO wrote a letter to his deputy Ruth Kulundu informing them that she has been relieved of her duties for a temporary period, through the letter she was informed she was involved in activities that are against the electoral commission's rules and regulations of operations.

The Azimio allied MPs wanted the commission to reinstate the deputy CEO because it is a witch hunt against her having been friendly to their coalition.

Today the elected leaders allied to the Azimio coalition have been dispersed by police using tear gas, they were protesting against the move to relieve Ruth Kulundu of her duties, gates leading to the commission offices have been closed and Azimio seeks to have an audience with the commission.

Thank you.
