8pm to 4am Curfew In Red Zoned Counties To End On The 29th Of May 2021.
In a gazette notice that was released today, the Covid 19 control measures that were announced by the President Uhuru Kenyatta on the 26th of March 2021 have been officially gazetted by the Interior CS Fred Matiangi and this now puts them into law.
In the gazette notice, the 8pm to 4am curfew that was placed on the red zoned counties of Nairobi, Nakuru, Kajiado, Kiambu and Machakos will be in place from a period of 60 days, that was effective from the 29th of March 2021 and this now mean's that the curfew will end on the 29th of May 2021.
There are not expectations that the president could address the country again thereafter and give a way forward with the regulation's about the Covid 19 pandemic in the country.
