The governor has filed a lawsuit to prevent the MCAs from pursuing their efforts to impeach her since they haven't received funding from her office. Kawira Mwangaza claims that she is being threatened by MCAs as a result of her refusal to release ward funds, which is against the law.

Because she is acting in accordance with moral principles, the governor has made it plain that she won't be frightened or intimidated. The governor claims that she hasn't broken any laws, not even those pertaining to procurement, so she can't be dismissed from office.

Kawira Mwangaza claims that the MCAs are trying to oust her from office for their own personal reasons. Let's wait and see how the court rules on the Meru County issues before proceeding, though.
