Feisal Reveals Ruto's Secret Meeting With Tangatanga MPs Who Voted YES For BBI

Fresh details have emerged indicating that the deputy president Dr William Ruto was aware that some of his allies would vote in favour of the Building Bridges Initiative constitutional amendment Bill 2020 on Thursday. This comes after Msambweni member of Parliament Hon Feisal Badder talked of a secret meeting that occurred between Ruto and the MPs who voted yes before the debate.

According to Feisal, the five MPs who voted in favour of the Building Bridges Initiative held a consultative meeting with DP Ruto at his Karen residence to discuss the same before deciding to vote yes. While at it, Feisal revealed that it is up to Ruto who allowed them to e dorse the bill if they felt it would benefit their people.

"For those who are here saying that I betrayed DP William Ruto, I am here to make it clear that I never did anything to break his trust in me. Before the voting took place on Thursday, Hon Mwashetani Hon Ngujiri and Benjamin Tayari met with Ruto at his Karen residence and he allowed us to vote in favour of the document if we felt it would benefit our people, "Faisal told the standard newspaper today.
