Raila revealed that he was invited to US by President Joe Biden, a thing that made him call off the meeting on December 8th,2022.
Raila has been invited in his capacity as African Union Representative for Infrastructure Development to participate in the first ever United State Africa Leaders Summit.
The International event is scheduled to take place in Washington DC between December 13.We have established that high level event which will be hosted by US President Joe Biden.
"The meeting that we were supposed to have next week has been postponed because I will not be present, not because we fear anybody. I want Kenyans to understand that I cannot be intimidated and I do not fear anything because we won the elections." Raila Odinga.
Opiyo Wandayi, the minority leader in The National Assembly, announced the cancellation on December 8 and mentioned that Raila had other commitments.
