Days after Kenyatta's family wealth hit the headlines from Pandora papers, that is, International Consortium of Investigative Journalism(I.C.I.J). President Uhuru has said that this paper will help to reveal those who didn't acquire their wealth accordingly.
His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta's attention has been captured by the ongoing Media coverage of the, International Consortium of Investigative Journalism Pandora papers, leak and made this intervening response.
This is what president Uhuru said about Pandora papers leak. "My attention has been drawn to comments surrounding the Pandora papers. Whilst I will respond comprehensively on my return from the state visit to the Americans,let me say this."
"This reports will go a long way in enhancing the financial transparency and open ness that we require in Kenya and around the globe. The movement of illicit funds, proceeds of crime and corruption thrive an environment of secrecy and darkness".
He also added that "The Pandora papers and subsequent follow up audits will lift the veil of secrecy and darkness for those who cannot explain their Assets or Wealth. Thank you". President Uhuru said.
