
On Friday, His Excellency the Head of State president William Ruto hosted top Members of the East African Legislative Assembly.
Among those he hosted in his official State House residence is former Kieni Constituency Member of Parliament Honourable Kanini Kega who is also an EALA member of Parliament.
Others present was the EALA speaker Joseph Ntakirutimana as well as Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of East African Community affairs Hon Rebecca Miano, the EAC Principal Secretary Bubat, Hon Hassan, Hon Kering and EAC Deputy clerk Mr. Mutega.

"Accompanied my Speaker Rt. Hon Joseph Ntakirutimana for a courtesy call to HE President Dr. William S Ruto today at Statehouse Nairobi. We discussed many issues pertaining EAC and we appreciate the commitment our country has towards East Africa Integration process."Kanini Kega.
Earlier, the EALA Committee on General Purpose had held a meeting in Nairobi where Kanini Kega has noted that they are committed in Widening, deepening and Tightening the East Africa Integration.
