Cherera 4 Evidence Drawn From CCTV Footage At Yaya Hotel

In spite of the fact that some members of the IEBC Commission, such as Juliana Cherera, Francis Wanderi, and Julius Nyang'anya, have resigned from their positions, the tribunal will continue to decide their fate without interference. Since the beginning of the hearing, a number of different pieces of information concerning the four dissident Commissioners have been brought to light so far. In their decision to reject the Presidential results that were announced by the IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati, Cherera and her team have been accused of showing favoritism to the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya party.

After the petitioners claimed that the commissioners met Azimio leaders while they were staying at Yaya Apartments in Kilimani, the tribunal requested the CCTV footage of the four commissioners while they were there. On the other hand, the video that was provided by the hotel's administration only showed Commissioner Irene Masit boarding a lift in the basement of the building. In the photographs, Masit can be seen standing next to the hotel's Chief of Security. In addition to Masit, the footage does not appear to have captured any other Commissioners. Nor did it manage to seize the Azimio allies who were accompanied by Commissioners. This indicates that the tape won't be of much use in the judgement that will be made by the tribunal about the four of them. In order to decide what would become of the Commissioners, the tribunal was established. Do you believe that this tape will assist in identifying the relationship that Azimio had with these rogue Commissioners?
