Kindiki Warns The State Against Fronting A Candidate, Details What Would Happened

Tharaka Nithi senator professor Kithure Kindiki has come out gun blazing warning the Kenyan government against fronting presidential candidates in 2022 issuing fresh details of what would happen to their candidate.

With the 2022 general election approaching after each day expires, there is no doubt that the race will be between Deputy president William Ruto, former prime minister Raila Odinga and the OKA aspirants as others treated as escorters in the 2022 race.

Kinthure, under unclear circumstances, has warned the Kenyan government not to field a candidate of its own in the 2022 presidential race. Kindiki told the government if they dare front they will face it rough.

According to Kinthure, there are peoples' candidates and those of the government. According to the senator, if the State would front their candidate, Peoples' candidate will flop down that of the State.

Kinthure's remarks may be related to what happened today in Wang'uru stadium, Kirinyaga county where DP Ruto was accorded heroic reception than any other politician at the ceremony.

During the ceremony, Raila Odinga was welcomed but not as much as how Ruto was welcomed. Senator Kithure, might relate the two with Raila Odinga who received a low-key reception considered a government candidate.

Meanwhile, share with us your thoughts on the matter kindly.
