Manhattan Member of Parliament Hon Hon Gitonga Mukunji a close ally of President William Ruto has now cautioned the head of state to avoid tolerating people who doesn't add value in his political Career.
Speaking through a viral video clip shared by the standard media on Thursday, the Mt Kenya East MP for instance reported that those supporting the motion to scrap the Presidential term limit will be met with a lot of resistance owing to the point that Ruto should now be focussed on delivering his Presidential campaign pledges.
This, Mukunji Said even as he claimed that her is aware that some UDA MPs are secretly supporting the motion by their colleague from FaFI.
“Right now we cannot afford to have a discussion on issues of term limits.” Manyatta MP Gitonga Mukunji vows to lead a protest on the floor of the house if the motion on presidential term limits finds its way to parliament.
At the same time, Mukunji's sentiments were supported by the likes of Oscar Sudi and Onsoro who maintained that they won't stand and watch the Constitution being destroyed.
