Once Beaten Twice Shy? Huge Blow To Uhuru As High Court Makes This Ruling

President Uhuru Kenyatta is on his second and last term in office. The Jubilee party leader has been facing a rough time dealing with the High Court of Kenya. From nullification of the Building Bridges Initiative Bill to the abolishment of Huduma Number Cards whom he truly gave his full hand on, the High Court is evidently on his case.

Well, news just in have it that the High Court of Kenya has clearly rejected a petition which is seeking to give president Uhuru Kenyatta the powers to nominate and, with the approval of the National Assembly, dismiss and appoint judges of the superior courts in Kenya among others.

As per a report from Nation Africa on Saturday, February 26,

President Uhuru Kenyatta appears to be facing a rough time dealing with the independent body.

" The High Court has rejected a petition seeking to give the President the powers to nominate and, with the approval of the National Assembly, appoint and dismiss judges of superior courts, " tweeted Nation Africa.

This is a huge blow to the head of state, who is looking forward to leaving a legacy as his term expires.

In some other news, Murang' a county women representative Sabina Chege has delivered a strong message to Kenyans ahead of this year' s general elections, slated for August 9.

Taking to her official Twitter account on Saturday, February 26, Chege made herself a replica of Pepe Minambo, sending a message of hope to the people of Kenya.
