Sen. Samson Cherargei of Nandi County has once more criticized Raila Odinga, the head of the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Coalition Party, for his upcoming large-scale protest.
The outspoken senator alleged that the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement party is threatening to organize protests to force Ruto to shake his hand with him in a late-night post on his official social media pages.
But he also cautioned that, unlike Uhuru, Ruto would not put up with Raila's threats. Cherargei advised the Azimio team to draft a bill proposing the establishment of an opposition office and submit it to the Parliament rather than calling for widespread protests.
"The Tinga/ Azimio-OKA planned Maandamo is a ploy for a forced handshake / Nusu mkate government with H.E RUTO government this SHALL NOT happen!.Kazi Ni kazi. Blessed night," the senator said in his official Twitter account platform.
