The Amount of Money Charged by UDA to Vie for an Elective Seat

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) which is currently the new and fast-rising political party in the country, has today publicized their registration forms for any member who would like to vie for any political seat in the country.

That is right from the presidential seat, governors, Senators, Members of parliament to Members of the County Assemblies seats.

Concerning the claimed main agenda behind the formation of the party which is to accommodate every individual without any preference of class, the party itself has set lower charges to allow any individual to vie for any elective seat.

Unlike other parties like ODM which charges one million Kenyan shillings for anyone eyeing to face the presidential competition with the ODM party, the UDA is only charging a tenth of that which is 100,000 Kenyan shillings.

For other seats like MCA seats, MPs/women representatives seats and Governors/ Senators seats, any individual who would like to vie for them is likely to pay 2000, 5000, and 10000 Kenyan shillings respectively.

This is likely to make more Kenyans from various parts of the country to feel more accommodated in the party than other parties and also giving them higher chances of trying their lucks for various seats with the UDA party.
