The lawmaker for Malindi Aisha Jumwa lashed at the Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and a host of other presidential aspirants by saying that they were not men enough to challenge the deputy president come 2022. She added that they were very weak and only depended on endorsement.
He particularly said that Joho was confused since he was defeated in Msambweni by election where the ODM party candidate that he was campaigning for lost to Jubilee's candidate. She added that the Governor up to date had never believed he lost.
Jumwa also took an issue with Joho and his counterpart Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi. She pointed out that their suggestion and plans of the coastal region having a party that will represent the region was a big dream and impossible.
The Mp said that was not possible at all as the leaders in the coast were divided and were not united. She instead maintained that the Dp was the only leader who had concrete solutions for the problems the region was facing many years.
She thus warned Joho and Kingi from risking their political careers by thinking of forming a party that will bring the entire area together. She finally insisted that Ruto was the presidential Candidate to beat and that is why he was getting all manner of attacks from his political enemies.
