This follows the demands raised by some leaders from the central region such as Martha Karua, Moses Kuria and Mwangi Kiunjuri, demanding to know what will be done to them in the region, 40% of seats to be preserved for them in government. Before supporting any candidate, the leaders need to sign an MoU with the candidate leaving the candidate with no choice but to work on the MoU.
This could be dangerous should the MoU be signed by political giants in the forthcoming elections. Repercussions will come in implementation stage of the demands.
Where will the President get the funds from? The president will have to acquire more loans to satisfy the needs signed in the MoU. He/She will also be seen working for a particular region and not Kenya at large. This will brand the president as the worst performed in the history of Kenyan presidency.
Kenyans during the breakfast show, have shared their anger telling Mt Kenya leaders to avoid threats. They should support anyone of their choice like it they have been supported in the past without demands. This is the time for them to play their democratic rights.
