According to Senator Murkomen, he has penned via his social media informing that as the Rift Valley region leaders they have decided to unite ahead of 2022 in ensuring that the region benefits from whoever will form the next government.
However, Murkomen has said that going forward, they have come up with a team of leaders that will negotiate for the region stating clearly that they want the team to negotiate with a Presidential candidate of the Hustler Nation who is none other than Deputy President William Ruto.
The remarks from the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator are a clear sign that they want to sideline Senator Gideon Moi from the succession matrix banking on Deputy President William Ruto 2022.
"Today we established a steering committee to consult, collect and collate the issue we want to negotiate with the Presidential candidate of the Hustler Nation. The committee is mandated to consult widely before presenting the report back to us," Murkomen has said.
Senator Murkomen has added that it should be clear to all that "The future is for those who plan for it" clearing the air that what the Rift Valley leaders are doing is preparing an economic blueprint in the upcoming Hustler Administration.
