The former prime minister Raila Odinga has taken his campaign to the deputy president William Ruto's Uasin Gishu backyard where he is expected to engage with the people in Eldoret and tell them what he has for them if they elect him in 2022.
Taking to his twitter handle, popular Kalenjin blogger, Abraham Mutahi has advised his Kalenjin people to leave whatever they are doing and ensure they come out on large numbers to welcome the ODM party leader.
"Dear Kalenjin in Eldoret, shtua Raila leo, shtua wakenya na ulimwengu kwa jumla," he tweeted.
He further advised them to stop being bitter with Raila Odinga and reflect back how the people of Kisumu welcomed the deputy president William Ruto during the Madaraka day celebrations in June this year.
"The Luo showed us how to welcome visitors when they brought Kisumu to a standstill for Ruto. Let us stop being bitter," he added.
Raila Odinga is regarded as the strongest opponent of the deputy president William Ruto in the 2022 presidential race.
