Many thought that Ruto's dominance in Rift Valley will give BBI a big problem and be an obstacle to its passing. However Ruto and his Tangatanga allies continue to get blows as more counties pass the amendment bill. Today, Busia, Nzans-Nzoia and West Pokot joined the list of counties that voted Yes for BBI. The county assemblies joined Kisumu, Homabay and Siaya to pass the BBI.
More counties are expected to pass the BBI like Laikipia, Kajiado among others. Today, Raila's ally Donald Kipkorir made allegations of counties that may shoot down the amendment bill. He said that the only County Assemblies that out of illogical rebellion will fail the BBI Bill are,Uasin Gishu, Baringo,Turkana, Kericho, Nandi and Bomet. However, the rest of the counties will pass BBI he added.
His remarks made some Kenyans react by asking more questions. Some asked the don what if the alleged counties reject will they get the 35% revenue allocation and benefit from it? He quickly responded saying that the national government will not allocate any money for them. The national treasury will not allocate the revenue.
Baringo MCA's have already changed tunes and it is believed they will pass the document soon.

02-16 17:28:28Passing BBI bill isn't an issue ,the most difficult part is implementation just like the 2010 constitution which was too sweet to be resisted. BBI contains very tempting clauses with funding nightmare, when I say it's a complete mirage, then I will attract insults and condemnation but let's wait and seen many will that Kenya is a man eat man society or what we call the animal farm.
