Defiant jubilee party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni on 7th March afternoon made a briefing to the media concerning the current state of Politics in the country.
Speaking as relayed by K24 TV, Kioni revealed that president William Ruto's decision of appointing Cleophas Malala as UDA's secretary general is a true reflection that he's interested in Western Kenya.
Kioni as well opined that Ruto is working hard to snatch Nyanza region from former prime minister Raila Odinga spelling doom for Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua by citing Malala is a way of refunding votes from Mt Kenya region.
" We celebrate the appointment of Malala as secretary general of UDA. If there people who are waiting for better signs like Rigathi Gachagua,then I don't know what he's waiting than that", he said.
" [email protected]: The appointment of Malala tells the whole story. William Ruto is interested in the Western block and he is also interested in trying to see whether he can get something from Nyanza", he added.
His bold sentiment comes off when Cleophas Malala is hugely calling national assembly speaker Moses Wetangula, foreign affairs CS Fred Mutua and attorney general Justin Muturi to foldup their parties into UDA, a move that had elicited jitters in Kenya Kwanza's camp.
