Reports by one of the Kenyan newspapers indicates that the outspoken long-serving Cotu secretary general Francis Atwoli has not been featuring in the ongoing political rearrangements, Mr Atwoli seemed to be answering the accusation by the newspaper when he attacked the deputy president William Ruto
Trough his official twitter account, COTU secretary general accused the deputy president for contradicting with president Kenyatta's plans. According to Atwoli, The president is currently working towards National Unity while his deputy is busy contradicting with the president's efforts
He accepted that the president has taken over everything, expounding that president is working towards a common good, like peace and unity that they should all support him
"I don't expect to be called hawk-eyed for making this observation for this is something that all of us can see, although not everyone will write about it. Am just wondering why Mr. Atwoli has decided to leave mainstream politics and gone underground," Githuku Mungai explained.
