In an effort to remove weak candidates from the campaign, President Uhuru Kenyatta is anticipated to preside over the 11-member Council today. The President who leads the Azimio Council is anticipated to provide his approval for the exclusion of weak contestants.
To ensure that Azimio wins in the opening round from the MCA to the highest level, President Uhuru Kenyatta is committed to putting the proper people in place. It is evident that Azimio has put out a sizable number of candidates in an effort to compete with Kenya Kwanza and prove that Uhuru wants to remove weak individuals.
Most of those who will be released will be offered government jobs by Raila Odinga. It is clear that the majority of the weak candidates are expected to help campaign for Raila Odinga and expect fair inclusion in future tenders.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga are determined to ensure that as many Azimio allies are able to win as many seats as possible. This can only be achieved by eliminating internal competition from internal members of the Azimio given the dominance and invasion of the UDA.
