The Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amollo Odinga has reportedly received another major political boost after Deputy president Dr. William Ruto's top lieutenant from Mt Kenya region allegedly changed tune, Admits He's becoming popular in the region as he reveals why.
The Mathira constituency member of parliament Hon Hon Rigathi Gachagua who spoke to the STAR media today on Wednesday 6th of October has finally swallowed the humble pie and has admitted that ODM party chief Raila Odinga has managed to infiltrate Mt Kenya region and will soon conquer it if nothing is done.
According to Hon Gachagua, Raila might undo DP Ruto's 3 year gain in the region within months adding that his closeness to President Uhuru Kenyatta has given him the upper hand.
"I was one of the people who thought Raila might Receive a hostile reception in Central but after what I saw in Nyeri, Githurai, and Kenol, I am going to admit that Raila might be a threat to DP William Ruto. He might undo all the gains we've made in the region for three years in just a matter of months if we do nothing, "Hon Gachagua told the media house.
At the same time, the outspoken politician has maintained that the hustler movement is still unstoppable and is aware of the strides Raila is making in Mt Kenya, adding that Ruto's campaign brigade is working around the clock to ensure that he does not overtake Ruto in 2022.
