United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party, Amani National Congress (ANC) party and Ford Kenya party on Friday, 28th January, held a mega joint rally in Bungoma County as they took to solidify their unity in the Western region.
Deputy President William Ruto, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula among other leaders stormed Bungoma to sell their agenda in the region ahead of the August general election.
Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna toom a swipe at Kakamega County Senator Cleophas Malala after the Friday rally in Bungoma over 'Luwere' song, calling Malala a 'fake luhya'.
Taking to his twitter handle, Sifuna took a swipe at Malala saying that 'Luwere' song was the most famous luhya song that everyone knew its words apart from Senator Malala.
"Luwere" is perhaps the most famous luhyia song.EVERY LUHYIA knows the words to LuwereThen there is that fake Luhyia Malala.But I'm with you @Cleophasmalala , Luwere khulekha Raila," ODM SG Edwin Sifuna said.
