Joho's Urgent Demands Threatens ODM 2022 Plans

With only a few months till the general elections, the Orange Democratic Movement Party camp is currently embroiled in squabbles, with some members issuing urgent demands to former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga.

According to recent reports from the Kiswahili journals, Mombasa Governor Hasan Joho has turned against Raila Odinga, Orange Democratic Movement Party leader, and joined Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi in demanding a role in the future administration for the coastal area after more than a decade of political collaboration.

After the former Prime Minister and the party leader (Raila) indicated that he (Kingi) was betraying him and the party, Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi was sacked as Chairman of the ODM. Since then, the Governor has been at the forefront of advocating for the development of a political party comprised of Coastal legislators in order to have a significant representation in the 2022 General Election.

Please share and commend.
