There was drama in the Juja Parliamentary by-election but what got many talking was Deputy President William Ruto and his allies’ reactions.
Ruto and his camp took to their social media accounts to celebrate as they claimed victory in Juja constituency and Rurie ward by-election.
This is despite the fact that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) had suspended votes tallying in Juja after chaos erupted at the Mangu High School tallying Centre.
The allies of Ruto joined the DP in celebrating their alleged victory as they hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta for being defeated at his backyard which got Kenyans talking as they said that Ruto is unstoppable.
A section of Kenyans in reaction to Ruto’s celebration were saying that Ruto’s “Hustler Nation” is unstoppable claiming they are a force to be reckoned with.
“Ruto is unstoppable and the results show what to expect in future,” said Makena.
“Deep state be feeling the heat of the unstoppable hustler nation... na tunasema badooo,” said Wambui Githua.
“If UDA can win kikuyu land and come second in Bonchari Nyanza land then the only thing I know UDA will be more popular than all these parties coming 2022,” said John Ochieng.
“Matiang'i won't last long! Murathe is already malnourished and sick. Tuju is on the wrong side of history. UDA is the new Bouncer in town. WILLIAM RUTO has become unstoppable! THE HUSTLERS ARE FORMING THE NEXT GOVERNMENT. I may be wrong,” said Joe Munene.
Ruto came out early to celebrate before IEBC’s announcement saying, “We thank GOD for Hustler nation VICTORY in Juja & Rurie and the AWESOME show in bonchari. A big CONGRATULATIONS to all our hustler TEAMS for a sterling PERFORMANCE against all odds. HONGERA our competitors, let's keep it ISSUE BASED and PULL together. Sasa tupange uchumi na Big4.”
