The Gatundu member of parliament 2022 political survival has taken a new twist following the latest development. The MP who has spent close to two months in the hospital will be facing hard times to reclaim the Gatundu seat as some powerful people have vowed to unseat him promising to deliver more to Gatundu residents.
Today, friends to a rich businessman Mr. Geoffrey Njinji Murigi raised ksh30 million to support his bid in vying for Gatundu seat. While meeting at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi.Mr. Murigi promised to deliver saying the region had lagged behind in development due to poor leadership.
Kuria had been a close ally of the deputy president William Samoe Ruto. However, things took a new twist following Ruto's demand of folding small parties in favour of United Democratic Alliance, something that Kuria couldn't welcome. Upto now, it's not yet clear on whom the legislator will endorse for the top seat between Raila and Ruto.
Do you think a plot to unseat Kuria in Gatundu will materialise? Give your comments.
