Governor Wycliffe Oparanya Hopeful to Win ODM Party Presidential Nominations.

H.E Hon.Wycliffe Oparanya, the incumbent governor of Kakamega County has expressed interest to vie for the 2022 presidential elections.
He was the first governor to be elected in Kakamega under the new constitution of Kenya 2010 in 2013, and is now serving his second term in office as Kakamega County governor.
H.E Dr Wycliffe Oparanya also served as the Chairman of council of governors for two terms and recently handed over leadership to H.E. Martin Wambora.
The governor is celebrated for his good development record in Kakamega county. He worked toward equipping the health facilities around the county with beds, machines and drugs and he is still doing much for the county in terms of development.
Today, in his twitter account, he has expressed interest in running for presidency under the ODM Party ticket therefore soliciting for support from the party members. He is hopeful he is going to win the party nominations stating he has what it takes to carry the ticket for presidency. See below tweet from the governor.
