Trouble for Ruto as Some UDA Members Defect To Azimio's Camp

Again, Azimio la Umoja has gotten defectors from their main rivals in the general election in August.

As the defectors have left the United Democratic Alliance led by Deputy President William, this appears to be a big gain for the political group represented by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Jubilee Governor Ndiritu Muriithi welcomed the defectors at Rumuruti.

The defections, in Muriithi's opinion, demonstrate that Raila Odinga, the candidate for president of the Azimio region, is gaining support and projecting confidence that he will win more votes than Dr. Ruto in the area.

As a result, Kenya Kwanza will suffer another setback, particularly in the region where both campaigns are vying for a sizable number of votes. They are now supporting Azimio la Umoja.

Here are a some images taken when the UDA defectors were welcomed by the Laikipia County leader.
