Former Vice President Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka is set to return to Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance after the Independent Electrol and Boundaries Commission revealed he had failed to submit documents on time. Kalonzo ran away from Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance and announced his candidacy for Hon. Sunkuli Raila Odinga immediately announced that he would appoint Hon. Martha Karua as a life partner.
However, Kalonzo was promised to serve as Minister in the event that Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance forms a government. He is now expected to accept the job offered to him and is therefore now affiliated with the union.
According to Taifa Leo today, it is reported that Kalonzo will announce his return to Azimio on Monday upon returning from the UK tour. The magazine also revealed that IEBC did not include Kalonzo among the 16 candidates allowed to compete for the top seat in August. IEBC said Kalonzo had failed to send its documents to them on time and was no longer eligible for clearance.
