United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate Hon. CPA Evans Kakai has lashed out at Ford Kenya supporters lead by Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula for bringing confusion in Kabuchai by election slated for 4th March 2021.
Yesterday Ford Kenya boss lead other party bosses in Kabuchai Constituency to drum support for Ford Kenya candidate Majimbo Kalasinga
Speaking to business people and boda boda riders at his home, Kakai differed with Senator Wetang’ula’s sentiments where he lamented that UDA MPs from Bungoma County have been accusing him.
Kakai added that his supporters were responding the Ford Kenya party boss Moses Wetang’ula’s sentiments for having threatened him and his supporters against campaigning in Kabuchai.
‘’The sentiments that were made by my supporters were not meant to discriminate or otherwise to accuse anybody, i plead with Ford Kenya supporters to be at peace with me, let Kabuchai electorates choose a leader of their choice but not to receive command from some selfish people,’’ he stated.
He differed with Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala for inciting Kabuchai residents to reject voting for Kakai saying that he is a residence from Vihiga County.
‘’This people are having baseless agendas and nothing can change my minds I am focused and I believe in Kabuchai people, I want to bring changes in Kabuchai, I will not be the kind of a leader to be commanded to do this and that, I am not here to exchange bitter words with people, please vote for me in this mini poll,’’ said Kakai.
However, he pointed out that he will ensure that every resident is accessing clean water and children from vulnerable background receive support from the NG-CDF.
‘’This Kabuchai have never had a leader who serves residents to feel fruits of devolution, those who have been in leadership were receiving commands from some individuals to do this and that, I will make sure that we end such habits and focus on helping my electorates,’’ he affirmed.
