Yesterday was a special day to Kenyan people as the long awaited general elections were being exercised. It is an opportunity of Kenyan people to choose their leaders in the next coming years.
Some politicians are already celebrating their big wins and others accepting defeat. Unfortunately it is hard to accept the reality for one aspiring MCA from Mbeu Ward in Meru county. According to Ayfacts News Hub channel, Festus Kithinji who was aspiring for the seat through Wiper Party is in deep sorrow after people from his ward lied to him through opinion polls.
He shared a video and lamented how people have been using him and calling him Mheshimiwa, according to him, he has been taking part in solving problems in the village like taking part in fundraising occasions and paying school fees for some unable parents. He has been using his savings and resources for that in hope that the people shall vote for him.
It really heartbreaks him that no one gave him even a single vote after all the promises people gave him, he said that life will go on even though he feels discouraged and takes it as a chance to quit on his political ambitions.
Watch his video in the link below.
