Today on the 19th of March 2021, wiper party candidate Agnes Kavindu has painted victory all over and making the wiper leader Kalonzo very proud man after defeating the UDA candidate. Gideon Moi has broken the silence and taken his time to congratulate Agnes kind and promises her this.
"Congratulations Hon. Agnes Kavindu. Your resounding victory is a reaffirmation of the belief that the people of Machakos have in you. KANU associates itself with your victory and assures you of its support as you discharge your legislative, oversight and representative mandate." Gideon Moi says.
Agnes Kavindu was surrounded by uncertainties before the by-election some claiming she was not fit for the senatorial position as she lacked degree papers. However on the day of the day she won the battle and the court allowed her to vie for the seat whereby Kenyans and Machakos people expressed they believe in her by making her the champion.
