Former Murang'a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria has on Friday claimed that the Kikuyu /Mt Kenya region has been side kicked by the government after the general election.

While speaking in Machakos where Wiper held an event, the ex Governor alleged that the Mt Kenya youths are now being accused of things they aren't doing.
Wa Iria claimed that every youth in Mt Kenya that is not employed has been labeled as a Mungiki.
This comes as as Azimio la umoja leaders led by Raila Odinga, Martha Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka attended the event.
The former Murang'a Governor also urged Azimio la umoja to start collecting signatures so as to have a non Shareholders members.
"Baada ya kupiga Kura Wakikuyu tumetengwa... Kijana hafanyi kazi anaitwa mungiki.. Na sisi si wajinga...." Wa Iria said.
