It has come to light that the four IEBC commissioners and the former prime minister Raila Odinga collaborated closely before and after the elections on August 9. It has come to light that Raila's aide Edwin Ogwe paid the 4 commissioners' bills during the press conference at the Serena Hotel.

Edwin Ogwe covered all of the expenses for the four IEBC commissioners' housing because they were afraid for their safety and faced additional pressure. These facts demonstrate that the four IEBC commissioners did in fact collaborate closely with the Azimio coalition.
This explains the 4 IEBC Commissioners' disagreement with the presidential results. The 4 made the decision to stand by Raila Odinga as he lobbied the commission to have the presidential election results moderated.

It is clear that the four IEBC commissioners did collaborate closely with Raila Odinga to sway the democratic will of the people. However, Chebukati and his two colleagues decided to announce the actual presidential results, which prevented treason and coup attempts.
