The Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has joined Ford Kenya Party leader Moses Wetangula in ganging up against UDA party in the Bungoma By-elections. It's clear to the ANC party which is associated with Mudavadi that they will strongly support and campaign for Wakoli by all means possible.

The Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi is determined to ensure that the UDA party doesn't stand a chance in the by-election. Ruto's camp have vowed to clinch the seat of Senate by all means possible despite sabotage by Western Kenya leaders.
This is the clearest confirmation that Mudavadi and Wetangula are not ready to let go Western Kenya because such will make them refugees. The two leaders are trying to ensure that their political identities is felt on the ground through their political parties.
This is a big blow to President Ruto who has been trying to stop leaders from tribal kind of politics. It's clear that Mudavadi and Wetangula are still focused in politics of their region as opposed to joining UDA which is a National Political Party.
