Likoni Constituency Member of Parliament Hon Mishi Mboko on Friday shared a podium with Kenya Kwanza's top leadership in Mombasa county. The vocal lawmaker was one of the leaders from the coast who welcomed President William Samoei Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua.
However, it was not a walk in the park for the ODM lawmaker who had to endure vicious attacks from her party leader Raila from Kenya Kwanza leaders who accompanied President William Samoei Ruto.
The majority of leaders who took to the podium attacked Raila Odinga and his Azimio la Umoja coalition especially after calling for nationwide protests in the next 14 days should the government ignore his call.
At one moment, Mishi Mboko was forced to watch helplessly as Nyali MP Mohammed Ali tore into Raila Odinga and his Azimio coalition. In a video that Mohamed Ali posted on his social media platforms, Mishi Mboko could be seen standing by his side as Mohamed Ali brutally told off the opposition.
In his speech, Mohamed Ali told President Ruto to be careful as the opposition is trying to provoke him to deploy state machinery such as teargas and anti-riot police against citizens. He urged Ruto to remain calm and ignore Azimio.
