Political Analyst Professor Herman Manyora has called upon the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance Camp led by Raila Odinga, Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka not to be quick to react to whatever President William Ruto, and his Kenya Kwanza Government says or does.
According to Manyora, Ruto is fair to ask Kenyans to give him one year to streamline the country, and it would also be fair for the opposition and Kenyans at large to start criticizing the president after the said time.
The University of Nairobi lecturer went on to say that it is unfortunate that the Azimio camp is out reacting to everything Ruto and the KKA government is doing including a presser they held yesterday following a move to oust four IEBC commissioners who opposed Ruto's win.
"I want to ask the opposition, not to react nearly because Ruto has said something. They should look for better ways to constructively engage the president or address what he says."
Manyora added that mass protest will never help a country, and such a move will only scare away investors, saying that is an option out of the ways one needs to use to build the country at a time when the economy is struggling.
Listen to Manyora, from minute 10:05.
