The Rigathi Gachagua debate continues to rage on with each passing day with different political commentators sharing their opinions on whether Deputy President William Ruto was spot on with this nomination.
Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi continues to share his thoughts about Gachagua who he refers to as a greenhorn politician who had no experience with state governance.

In his latest sentiments about the Mathira Member of Parliament, Ngunyi alleges that Rigathi Gachagua has been betrayed by his own speech which has depicted him as a project of the establishment and reminds Kenyans that a Kikuyu cannot be bought.
In what appears to be an uncharacteristic change of tune Ngunyi confesses that Rigathi could have a bright future in politics should he fail with the Deputy President William.
The Professor admits that this could be Gachagua's long-term game in the political scene and sights his blunders to have originated from the deep state but time will tell if he gets this assessment right.
