The general election will take place on August 9, and numerous debates have taken over various platforms in preparation for the election. The election will take place in less than a month.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has given the green light to four contenders for the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta, therefore all eyes continue to be on this contest.
Even though his current running mate, Deputy President William Ruto, is a formidable opponent in this election, Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is determined to win the president on a ticket sponsored by the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance.
Hon. Kanini Kega, the Member of Parliament for the Kieni Constituency, has been a vocal footsoldier for the Raila and Azimio brigade in the Mt. Kenya region. He has also been rallying residents of the mountain to support Raila for the top seat.
Ahead of the elections on August 9, Kega has made some new accusations, one of which is that it is becoming more and more obvious with each passing day that Raila will be the next President.
The member of parliament affiliated with the Jubilee party has advised Kenyans to take his feelings about Raila's chances of winning the contest for State House seriously.
"With each passing day, it is becoming more and more apparent that Baba will be the 5th! Bring this to the Bank that is the closest to you "Kieni MP Kanini Kega stated.
