The former prime minister Raila Odinga is celebrating his 77th birthday since his birth. He celebrated his birthday party at Bomas of Kenya in company with top elected leaders and youth representatives. Leaders present included Nairobi governor Anne Kananu, Kieni legislator Kanini Kega and Embakasi East legislator Babu Owino.
Top Coast ODM leaders have thrown a mega party to celebrate their party leader Raila Odinga 77th birthday. The lavish event took place in Mombasa county and was led by Mvita legislator Abdululswamad Shariff Nassir who is eyeing for Mombasa gubernatorial seat.
The colourful event was attended by several elected leaders from the region allied to ODM party. The leaders includes Hon. Ashuu, Hon. Mohammed Machele, Hon. Beatrice Gumbo, Hon. Milka Areba among other elected leaders.
Senior ODM party officials from Mombasa county were also present in the party. They were led by Mombasa ODM Chairman Mohammed Hamid and secretary general Geoffrey Busaka.
The photos of this colourful birthday party were shared by Coast ODM official Facebook page Pwani Ni Chungwa. They further wished their party leader a happy birthday.

Raila's birthday has been celebrated in various parts of the country. In Nakuru county, Nakuru speaker Joel Kariu led the birthday party while in Nairobi it was led by Nairobi women representative Esther Passaris. Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyongo and Renonwed law scholar Prof. Makau Mutua also led similar celebrations at Mama Ngina children's home in Kisumu county.
Leaders across the political divide have also wished the former prime minister Raila Odinga a happy birthday on their different social media platforms. They include deputy president William Ruto, Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja, Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala, Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya among other elected leaders.
