Azimio la umoja One Kenya coalition party presidential candidate Raila Odinga recently unveiled a high profile selection panel to help him in identifying a suitable running mate to deputize him in the August general elections.
The panel whose secretary is Elizabeth Meyo has its work cut out as vocal allies of the Wiper democratic movement insist that the panel consists of junior leaders who don't have the pedigree to interviewing a person of Kalonzo Musyoka's stature.
And now, Azimio camp is now under tension as former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka refused to attend the selection panel interviews scheduled to start today on Wednesday, a day the selection panel is having its first meeting.
Speaking to The Standard, Kalonzo said that he won't attend the interviews as he finds the whole idea to interview him inappropriate.

"I want to tell all kenyans that I will not attend the said process. I find the entire thing demeaning to my person and will therefore distance myself from it," Kalonzo announced.
