Kenyan political analyst and professor Mutahi Ngunyi who is a president Uhuru Kenyatta insider has finally spilt the beans on who will deputize the orange Democratic Movement party chief Raila Odinga after getting the support of president Uhuru Kenyatta. According to Prof Ngunyi, the National Rainbow Coalition leader Hon Martha Karua has proven difficult to get to be the deputy to Raila Odinga. Accordingly, the Kieleweke are landing on the Nakuru city county governor Hon Lee Kinyanjui to be the running mate to Raila in 2022.
Although nothing can be totally confirmed as per now, Mutahi Ngunyi being an insider and close confidant of president Uhuru Kenyatta could give a direction that could have far reaching truth.
All indications have shown that the incumbent president will throw his support to Raila Odinga. The most recent indication was yesterday when the president warned that one may get votes but end up not ascending to the top seat. The Head of State said the old have experience in leadership and that the youths should not look down upon them.
