Ichungwa addresses allegations that he is a snobbish and untouchable leader

In a statement seen as a direct rebuttal to criticism from Rift Valley MPs led by Sudi, Koech, and Cherargei, Kikuyu Member of Parliament Hon. Kimani Ichungwa said he is a leader who doesn't know what haughtiness and pride look like while also adding that he must conduct thorough consultation before making any decisions on any matter.

Speaking to The Nation after being asked to comment to recent allegations that Kimani Ichungwa, the Leader of the Majority, is a leader driven by arrogance and pride in the performance of his duties, he added that perhaps people spreading such lies don't know him. He described himself as a leader who values feedback from all parties.

"Those making such statements are ignorant of the type of person I am. I am reachable to everyone, including my coworkers and supervisors "said Ichungwa.
