Prior to the impending general elections in August, the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party mounted a campaign in Meru County to support Raila Odinga, their presidential candidate.
Photos shared online show a huge crowd gathered to meet Raila at one of Mount Kenya's locales. The conference was also attended by Martha Karua, the party head of the National Rainbow Coalition of Kenya (NARC-K).
On Twitter, Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi was made fun of by Mohamed Wehliye, a Saudi Arabian Central Bank advisor, for the size of the crowd that greeted the former Prime Minister. In response to Wehliye's tweet, a UDA fan named Ahmednasir said that while the Azimio flag is blue, only about 2% of people wear it, whereas UDA supporters wear yellow as their major color.
Azimo's official color is blue, but less than 2% of the rally is colored blue. Unless you are colorblind, the dominant color is yellow, he tweeted.
