Reports of Martha Karua planning to attend United Democratic Alliance party NDC at Kasarani tomorrow have emerged online and raised a lot of speculations among Netizens. The NARC-Kenya party leader had recently skipped the Azimio La Umoja NDC which was held at KICC. Her absence raised a lot of questions on his political plans ahead.
However, the vocal activist has emerged and refuted the trending claims that she is one of the leaders expected to attend UDA NDC. DP Ruto is expected to be unveiled as the flag bearer for the Kenya Kwanza coalition which brings together several parties which include Musalia Mudavadi's Amani National Congress party.
Karua responded to the claims via her Twitter account and rubbished them as being untrue.
However, a fact check reveals that the reports emerged from UDA party legal secretary, Edward Muriu. During a press conference conducted earlier today, Muriu had listed Karua as one of the attendees of the event .
He had disclosed that Narc Kenya party will join TSP and Tujibebe Wakenya Party during tomorrow's NDC.
The allies of UDA also shared a photo of Martha Karua donning UDA party coloured clothes and further proppelled the speculations.
