The 2022 elections will not only be a litmus test for the two top presidential aspirants William Ruto and Raila Odinga but also a test for their running mates Rigathi Gachagua and Martha Karua. Both running mates hail from the Mt Kenya region and they are both poised to have a huge impact on the winner of the 2022 elections.
Standard Newspaper headline today was talking about an opinion poll that they administered countrywide. The poll results revealed that the majority of Kenyans believed that Martha Karua will bring more votes to Raila Odinga than the number of Rigathi Gachagua will add to Ruto's basket.
The newspaper headline has however caused reactions from Kenyans. Some agreed with the poll results while others said that the media house was ganging up against William Ruto in the mountain.
Career Preciz James said that God will ultimately give Kenyan good leaders and that corrupt leaders will not see the light of the day come August. Peris Ngugi added by saying that Kenyans are full of hypocrisy. Beatrice Njeri said that it was a good idea that online polls will not be considered by the IEBC as she claims that Ruto(hustler) is leading
Joseph Mburu said that Karua's Job is supposed to be In the Mt Kenya region, unlike Rigathi who was picked by William Ruto to only hold the ground for him In the region.
Mtarajiwa said that when you heard Oburu Odinga talking about the deep state this is what he meant. That opinion poll is being cooked and disseminated to the public with an agenda of changing the minds of Kenyans.
